SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) - Montgomery County Police are asking the public's help in locating a critically missing Silver Spring man. Elmer Crampton, age 53, was last seen Monday morning leaving his residence, located in the 2800 block of Gracefield Road in the Calverton neighborhood of Silver Spring.
Police describe Crampton as a white male, 5'10" tall, weighing 169 pounds, with gray hair, a mustache, and goatee. Crampton was last seen wearing a black jacket and brown shorts.
Police say Mr. Crampton suffers from a mental disorder. He is known to frequent the Maryland Farms and Cherry Hill Road Shopping Centers. Anyone who has information about Mr. Crampton's whereabouts is asked to call the police at 301-279-8000.
