WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- The Lincoln bedroom has been rented out for the Inauguration. However, before you think someone has rented out a room at the White House, think again.
It's not the actual bedroom of President Lincoln, but a re-creation of the famous room in the Madison Hotel and it's open for business.
To create this historic bedroom, hotel representatives were not allowed in the actual Lincoln bedroom. Everything at the Madison was created from photographs of the original bedroom.
The room is booked during the Inauguration, but it is available the rest of the year. However, at $809 per night, you'll probably want to be a big fan of President Lincoln to put out that kind of cash!
