INDIAN SPRINGS, Md. (WUSA) -- Some lucky person will win a $400,000 home for a hundred bucks!

Owner Karen Crawford says it's the real deal. The home, located in the beautiful western Maryland town of Indian Springs, is recently remodeled with four bedrooms and new appliances.

Crawford says she decided to raffle the home in a contest after it became hard to sell in a slow market. The sale let's her break even while helping raise lots of money for the San Mar children's home in Boonsboro.

Each raffle ticket costs $100 but keep this in mind: you'll have to pay hefty taxes on the house and the odds of winning are at least one in 5,000.
