WASHINGTON (AP) -- District of Columbia police say alcohol may have been involved in the deaths of two men injured on an open-top shuttle bus.
Police reconstructed the crash at the 11th Street overpass, which struck the two men riding on the open deck of a bus heading to a Washington Nationals game in July.
Twenty-four-year-old Joshua Stoll of Sterling, Va., died shortly after the accident. Thirty-five-year-old Michael Feiock of Centreville, Va., died at a hospital the next day.
Investigators said Wednesday that when Stoll was hit, he was standing on the first seat on the right side of the bus. They also found Feiock was standing on the first seat on the left side of the bus when he was struck.
Police say toxicology tests show alcohol may have been involved. The investigation continues.
