WASHINGTON (WUSA9) - The second front will drop south of town overnight. There is still a chance of a shower or a T-storm as the front moves through the Metro Area. Nothing dangerous but still somewhat of a nuisance.
Partly cloudy skies are on their way so we've removed the Yellow Alert from Wednesday. We'll need our sunglasses Wednesday. Yes, there is a slight chance of a shower, especially early in the morning south and east of town but we will still see a lot of sunshine Wednesday.
We'll have a strong finish to the week Thursday and Friday with warm but not humid days and cool nights. Early Friday morning will mark the summer solstice at 1:04 AM .
