WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Memorial Day weekend will feel more like the Fourth of July weekend with highs flirting with ninety degrees each day. It will be a bit humid as well. There is still a chance of a few afternoon and evening storms but not a high enough chance to change your outdoor plans. There is a much better chance of storms each afternoon west of I 81 and in the mountains.
Hurricane outlook was released Thursday. Download the 9 Hurricane Tracker. It's free. Look for it in the 'Check it Out' section of our homepage.
This is the 32nd year anniversary of the eruption of Mt. St. Helens. Check out this link from NASA of the forest regrowth.
