CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS 19) -- The man accused of abducting Alexis Murphy was in court on Thursday morning for a different reason.
Randy Allen Taylor appeared in Albemarle County Circuit Court for a probation violation hearing.
Taylor was convicted in 2004 of setting a car on fire to defraud his insurance company.
He has yet to pay back the thousands of dollars he owes the company.
Taylor's attorney asked for the hearing to be delayed, because of Taylor's charges in the Alexis Murphy case.
His probation hearing has been pushed to December.
