WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- General Motors has recalled nearly 27,000 Buick LaCrosse full-size cars and Cadillac SRX crossover SUVs.
A software glitch in the 2013 models can cause the transmission to unexpectedly shift into sport mode, and that increases the chance of a crash.

GM will reprogram the transmission for free starting March 28, 2013.
