CULPEPER, Va. (WUSA9) -- Culpeper Police want your help identifying a man suspected of scamming a local Wal-Mart.
According to police, on Friday a man came went up to the customer service counter at the Wal-Mart with a sealed box believed to be a computer tablet. The man exchanged the box for a cash refund, say police, and then went to the electronics department. Police say the man, believed to be between 20 and 30 years old, allegedly took a video gaming device and left the store without paying.
Later, store employees found that the box he had given them didn't have a tablet inside. Instead, they discovered other items in the box, say police.
Police describe the culprit as a 20 to 30 year old, light skinned black man with medium length brown hair, a beard, and glasses.
