JOHANNESBURG (WUSA) - South African president's office says Nelson Mandela has been admitted to a hospital for tests.
The president's office said the tests were part of a routine check up and that there was no reason for alarm.
President Mandela, 94, was hospitalized for a lung infection in December and also underwent gallstone surgery. He has been receiving treatment at his home outside Johannesburg.
President Mandela has not appeared in public since 2010.
