WASHINGTON (WUSA) - It's no surprise that where you live has an impact on your salary. Location is even more key for women who reportedly earn only 77% as much as men in the United States.
DC was named the best-paying city for women though it's also one of the most expensive cities to live in.
Recently, Forbes put together a list of the best-paying cities for women in the U.S. in 2013 based on the 2011 American Community Survey released by the U.S. Census Bureau. This survey tracks median annual incomes of men and women working full-time, year-around in major metropolitan areas in the U.S.
