WASHINGTON (WUSA) - Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened on Monday in the 500 block of 57th Street, NE.

Police say they responded to reports of a shooting on the 500 block of 57th Street, NE., and found 27-year-old Dominic Anthony Davis lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds.

According to Police, DC Fire and EMS took the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
