WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Police are asking for your help in identifying four suspects sought in connection with an early morning New Year's Day assault on a Metrobus.
Police say they found one adult woman with stab wounds and a second adult woman with blunt force injuries to her head and back after they arrived on the scene of an altercation on a 93-route Metrobus at Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave. and W Street SE. Both victims were taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
After an early investigation, police believe the four men boarded the bus in the area of 18th and Columbia Rd. NW in Adams Morgan. Once the bus arrived at 8th and G streets SE, two women passengers got involved in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical argument.
Metro released photos and descriptions of the four suspects who are all said to be black men between the ages of 19-22.
