WASHINGTON, D.C. (WUSA) - Thelma Jarrett, principal at Coolidge High School, appeared in D.C. court Friday afternoon on the assault charge stemming from an alleged altercation with another school staffer at the Coolidge homecoming.
Jarrett entered a plea of not guilty.
After the hearing, she was released on her own recognizance, and was ordered to stay away from alleged victim Rashida King Hicks
and was ordered not to have any contact with her, or to be within 100 yards of her.
Jarrett is due back in court on Nov. 29 at 9 a.m.
