WALDORF, Md. -- Police say two people were shot while walking Friday night.

According to Charles County Sheriff's Office, it happened near Hampshire Circle in a neighborhood behind a high school. 

Police say a man and a woman, in their thirties and forties, were on a path and were shot several times.
