DAMASCUS, Md. (WUSA) - Prohibition may have ended 79 years ago for most of us, but it's still in effect in this Montgomery County town.
Question C on the November ballot would change that, allowing certain restaurants to sell beer and wine.
Opinions are split. Some people say the ban on alcohol sales makes Damascus a great place to raise children, especially teens.
But a lot of other people say the downtown is desperately in need of some prosperous restaurants.
