Marvin Noe Torres Of Triangle, Va. Arrested for Assaulting A Teen

TRIANGLE, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County Police arrested two teens after assaulting a 14-year-old.

On Tuesday, at about 3:15 p.m. police responded to the 18100 block of Kilmer Lane after receiving reports of an assault. A 14-year-old male told police that he and a friend were walking when the two suspects approached them, one was a known acquaintance.

The known acquaintance, later identified as 18-year-old Marvin Noe Torres, asked for money. When the victim refused an argument ensued. The 14-year-old tried to walk away when the two suspects began assaulting the teen. When he fell to the ground, Torres began searching the teen's pockets in search of money.

The victim's friend broke up the fight and no money was taken. The teen was transported to a local hospital with injuries to his head.

Torres, of Triangle, was charged with malicious wounding, robbery and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is being held without bond.

The 15-year-old suspect was charged with malicious wounding and robbery. He is being held at a Juvenile Detention Facility.
