WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- Talk about a blast from the past. Christie's in England will auction off an Apple-1 computer on Tuesday.
The Apple-1 was introduced in July 1976. The machine was designed and hand-built by Steve Wozniak. His friend, Steve Jobs, suggested some improvement. Jobs also handled the sale and marketing for the computer.
The Apple-1 was sold without a casing, power supply, keyboard or monitor.
The computer being auctioned on Tuesday comes from the estate of Joe Copson, a former Apple employee. When offered at auction in Christie's sale of Travel, Science and Natural History it is expected to sell between £50,000 and £80,000.
