WASHINGTON (WUSA) --  On National Taco Day we get an update on the local business success story of District Taco, a story we've covered for some time now. 

Two and a half years ago, Osiris Hoil was convinced by his friend and now business partner to start operating a taco food cart in Arlington, after being laid off from his construction job. On that first day, Hoil estimates that he sold 20 tacos. Today he says he sells as many as 6,000 at his cart, his first bricks-and-mortar restaurant District Taco in Arlington and his District location opened earlier this year. Hoil tells 9NEWS he is now working on a deal to open a third location, this time on Capital Hill.
