FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- One of the men charged with burglary and grand larceny this weekend lived in the same neighborhood as the victim, say Fairfax City Police.
Police say a resident saw two men leaving through the front door of his home in the 4200 block of Allison Circle on Saturday at 10:24 p.m. He reported that they were carrying a bag. They then walked to a "neighboring residence," according to a police report.
The resident later found that a computer, video game controller and video games and other items were missing.
Police officers found two men at the nearby residence: 22-year-old James Ferdinand Rivera of the 4200 block of Allison Circle in Fairfax and 24-year-old Richard Anderson of Alexandria. They were taken to the Adult Detention Center and both were charged with one count of burglary and two counts of grand larceny.
Rivera and Anderson were held without bond.
