WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- The Bengals defeated the Redskins Sunday 38-31.
The Cincinnati Bengals scored a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage on a trick play to take a 7-0 lead over the Redskins. Wide Receiver Mohamed Sanu threw a 73-yard pass to fellow Receiver AJ Green for the touchdown.
The Redskins tied it up on an Interception return for a touchdown by Rob Jackson.
The Bengals then responded with a 48-yard Touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Armon Binns. Later, the Bengals added a Field Goal and a touchdown run by BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Alfred Morris brought the Skins within 7 when he scored a rushing touchdown less than 5 minutes into the 2nd half. The Redskins tied it up on a 3-yard touchdown pass from Robert Griffin III to Santana Moss.
The Bengals went back ahead with a touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Tight End Jermaine Gresham and extended their lead to 38-24 on a 58-yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Andrew Hawkins.
Griffin ran in for a TD to make the score 38-31 with 3:35 in the 4th, but the Redskins couldn't rally late.
