(WUSA) -- Want your Starbucks at home, but don't want to make a whole pot of coffee?
Starbucks is muscling in on the single-serve coffee market. The Seattle-based company says it will start selling its new single-serve brewer, called Verismo, online this week for $199. It plans to start selling the machine in its stores next month.
Green Mountain Coffee pioneered the single-serve market in 2006 with its Keurig brand, but its patent on K-cup technology expired this month, prompting other competitors to jump in.
