ASHBURN, Va. (WUSA) --Some of the most powerful Republican political women gathered in Ashburn on Tuesday to discuss women's issues.

The political battle has been on all year to sway female voters. And in a swing state like Virginia, both presidential campaigns have put an intense focus on women, and women's issues.
