SILVER SPRING, Md. (WUSA) - Five adults were injured Monday afternoon when a Metrobus struck the rear of a car that was braking to a halt, then propelled that car into another in front of it, according to a Montgomery County Police spokeswoman.
Both Police and Fire units are on the scene in the 11500 block of Viers Mill Road. The crash took place at bout 4:54 p.m. Monday.
Three passengers on the Metrobus as well as front seat passengers from the cars involved were taken to the hospital with minor injuries, according to the police spokeswoman.
