TEMPLE HILLS, Md. (WUSA) -- A man who was wanted for attempted murder was arrested Wednesday morning after deputies responded for a domestic violence call in Temple Hills.

According to the Prince George's County Sheriff's Office, Timothy Harris was wanted for an attempted first degree murder charge stemming from an incident at a Hyattsville night club. According to the warrant, Harris was involved in a verbal dispute inside the club and once outside the dispute turned into a physical struggle. Harris then allegedly pulled out a handgun and shot another man in the stomach.

Harris was arrested by Domestic Violence Intervention Division deputies in the 5500 block of Lee Jay Drive in Temple Hills and taken to the Prince George's County Department of Corrections, where he remains.
