Update: 911 Calls Released In Route 50 Fatal Car Accident

DAVIDSONVILLE, MD (WUSA)-- The 911 calls about a car traveling in the wrong direction on Route 50 have been released.

Four people died January 28 after a car driving the wrong way on Route 50 collided head on with a car traveling in the right direction on the same road.

Maryland State Police say that at approximately 3:45 a.m. Saturday, a Chrysler with three persons on board crashed into a BMW on Route 50 eastbound near Route 424.

Police say the 3 people in the Chrysler were pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver of the BMW died at the hospital.

Police are still investigating the accident and have not identified the victims.
