DAVIDSONVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- A driver received minor injuries after his car struck a house on Thursday morning at about 1.
According to Anne Arundel Fire Division Chief Michael Cox, a sedan left the roadway, came through a parking lot of a gas station and then hit another vehicle before striking a single family home in the 600 block of Central Ave W in the Davidsonville area. The car was resting inside the house.
Cox says no one was at home at the time of the incident.
The male driver was taken to Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis with minor injuries, according to Cox.
The Special Ops division responded to the scene and the collapse unit shored up load-baring walls to make it safe for a search. They searched areas around and under vehicle, but found nothing.
Anne Arundel Police are investigating the cause of the incident.
