WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA) -- Another huge Ford recall to pass along.
This time it involves 485,000 Escape and Maverick models from 2001 through 2004.
The problem deals with gas pedals that stick.
In January, a teenage girl died when an Escape crashed in Arizona.
Ford says the cruise control cables can get caught on a plastic engine cover and cause a problem with the pedals.
Dealers will replace the covers for free.
