BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled about 800,000 Cryofreeze and Acrtic Zone ice gel packs.
The gel can leak from the plastic if damaged, and if ingested in large amounts can make you sick.
The Cryofreeze and Acrtic Zone ice packs were sole at warehouse stores, other retailers, and online nationwide between July 2007 and December 2008.
They were priced between $5 and $28.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission wants you stop using this product immediately and dispose them according to federal, state and local regulations. Consumers can also contact t their local waste disposal authority for more instructions to dispose the gel packs.
To receive a $6 cash refund for the large Cryofreeze gel packs or a $5 cash refund for all the other gel packs, consumers should contact California Innovations at 800-722-2545 between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.
