BETHESDA, Md., (WUSA) -- Dollar Tree Stores announced a recall of 117,000 glass votive candle holders.
The frosted or clear glass holders can shatter when burning a votive candle, and pose a fire and laceration hazard.
The model number on the 2 1/2 inch votive candle holder is 976127. the date code 1010 are printed on the bottom of the glass holder.
Sold nationwide at Dollar Tree, Dollar Bill$, and Dollar Tree Deal$ stores from December 2010 through April 2011 for about $1.
There have been no reports of injury. Consumers should stop using the candle holders immediately and return them to the store for a full refund.
