BETHESDA, Md. (WUSA) -- The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled several models 2011 Felt Adult bicycles.
The bike's fork can break and cause a rider to lose control. The bikes costs from $1,400 to $5,000 and were sold nationwide at specialty stores.
Consumers can call Felt Bicycles toll-free at 866-433-5887 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. PT or visit the firm's website.
About 160 REI Novara Fusion Bicycles are being recalled because the steerer tube detaches from the bicycle's fork.
REI exclusively sold the bikes, priced from $600 to $900, in its stores and on its website.
The CPSC says consumers should immediately stop riding these bikes until free replacement parts or repairs are completed.
