WASHINGTON (WUSA) -- After taking and keeping his electoral college lead, President Obama pulled ahead of Mitt Romney in the popular vote overnight.
Charles Santangelo, a former White House Aide in both Democrat and Republican administrations, talked about how early on it looked like we could have a situation where the President would win the electoral count and Mitt Romney would win the popular vote -- and why that did not happen.
Santangelo also discussed whether this election called into question the utility of the electoral college or not, and a little about whether the second win for President Barack Obama shows we are living now in a Post-Racial America?
