Bomb threat found at GMU

Officials are investigating a written bomb threat discovered overnight at the art and design building at George Mason University's Fairfax campus, according to senior communications manager Michele McDonald. McDonald tells us that precautions were taken to cordon off building, and that the investigation does not present immediate danger to the university or the community. Officials are instructing everyone to stay away from the building and follow the directions of university police and emergency response personnel, say McDonald. Classes scheduled at 7:30 a.m. at the building are cancelled.
