ALLEGAN, Mich. (WZZM) -- According to the National UFO Reporting Center, Michigan has had more than 1,400 reported "unidentified sightings" since 1975.

Ask anyone what they feel about UFOs and the answer will vary - some believe strongly there is no such thing as extra-terrestrial life. Others believe that, with the thousands of other planets and galaxies that may exist in space, it's foolish to think we're the only civilization.

The new movie "The Fourth Kind" is based on a real life series of interviews with residents in Nome, Alaska who believe they may have experienced the "fourth kind" of alien encounter, an "abduction."

Stephanie Webb, of "Take Five & Company" met up with a West Michigan woman who firmly believes she and her family had an alien encounter back in 1968. The result? The family designed and built a giant pyramid (from extra terrestrial instruction) on their property.
