WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)-- A Christmas Carol topped the box office this weekend earning 31-million dollars. Rounding out the top three, This Is It and The Men Who Stare at Goats. But the big talker is Precious.The movie, based on the novel Push by Sapphire has some big names attached to it. The movie is getting tons of Oscar buzz and will expand to more theaters this Friday.
Singer John Mayer has wandered into the lip-synching controversy plaquing Britney Spears in Australia while on her "Circus" tour.
On Saturday, Mayer tweeted in reaction to a report that 100 angry fans walked out of the show after saying they were disappointed by Spear's lip-synching during her two-hour show.
