Kate Gosselin Rumors About Moving To Rockville May Be Wrong

ROCKVILLE, Md. (WUSA) -- Could reality TV star Kate Gosselin, of "Jon and Kate Plus 8" fame, be moving to Rockville?

According to a Wednesday posting on the blog Radaronline.com, Gosselin has reportedly bought a condo in the heart of Montgomery County.

Reportedly Kate and Jon take turns parenting in their Pennsylvania home. When Kate is home with the kids, Jon goes to "his place." When Jon is home with the kids, Kate allegedly needs a place to go--thus the Rockville rumor.

However, Thursday, People magazine reported no way, no how. Kate's not coming.

People quotes an un-named source saying Kate would never be that far away from her children. The source tells the magazine, "She is not buying or renting in the area. Kate was having lunch there, and after spending a total of one hour in a restaurant that has condos for sale above it, a rumor began that somehow, suddenly, she was buying a condo there. She didn't even know there were apartments for sale there. It's totally false."

Kate was spotted eating at the Thai Pavilion a few weeks ago. She reportedly ordered a scallop spinach salad and had a pomegranate martini.

If Kate were to move into a condo in the Town Square-- it would be the Palladian Condos.

The inside of these apartments are similar. All have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, and granite counters in the kitchen and in the bathroom. There's also a large soaking tub, and a gorgeous view.

But what do possibly maybe, maybe not, neighbors think of Kate moving into the neighborhood?

"I think it's great because the Town Center is new, it's finally something that Rockville residents have something to look forward to and I think it's even better if a celebrity is moving in," said Nikki Goldsborough.

"I don't get what the hoopla is. I don't get why people are interested in her," said Debora Shepard.
