2009 Best Beauty Products List From Self Magazine

WASHINGTON, DC (WUSA)--The hottest hair gel. The best bronzer. That eyeshadow you've been craving. Spring is here and store shelves are now being stocked with the latest and greatest in hair, skin and cosmetic creations. However, it can be tough to find the combination that's best for you and doesn't break the bank.

Self Magazine has come out with its 2009 list of the best beauty products for the money.

The magazine asked readers to test over one-thousand new hair, skin, and cosmetic products and rate them based on things like texture, color, and ease of use.

"We had over 1,400 testers and we tested about 1,400 products and we had 86 winners. There were 34 products that were under $10, says Self Magazine's Elaine D'Farley.
