Washington National Cathedral welcomes Dalai Lama's visit to DC

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) -- The Washington National Cathedral welcomed His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama to DC today, they said in a press release.

This was the Dalai Lama's fourth visit to the National Cathedral. The Dalai Lama's talk was called "Beyond Religion: Ethics for the Whole World." During his program he also had a conversation with Cathedral Dean Gary Hall about the pursuit of peace. There was a question-and-answer session led by the Right Rev. Mariann Edgar Budde, Episcopal bishop of Washington.
