GAINESVILLE, Va. (WUSA9) -- An argument between friends ended with one man using a knife to slash and stab two others.
According to Prince William County Police, the victim, 22, began arguing with 21-year-old Christian Raul Gutierrez-Perez in the 7300 block of Old Carolina Rd. in Gainesville on Sunday at about 1:13 a.m.
When the victim's friend stepped in, Gutierrez-Perez pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim's friend in the chest and slashed the victim on the forehead and arm, police said.
The suspect fled on foot but was arrested later that day, police said.
"Both victims were transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries," police said in a release.
Gutierrez-Perez has been charged with two counts of aggravated malicious wounding.
