WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Zales employee who worked at the Potomac Mills Mall location is accused of stealing jewelry, say Prince William County Police.
Police say Persephone Laportia Foushee is accused of embezzling close to $80,000 worth of jewelry from the Zales after a police investigation that started in April.
Friday, detectives executed a search warrant at Foushee's home in Woodbridge. Police say they found several pieces of jewelry.
Foushee is charged with felony embezzlement and possession of stolen property. She is being held on $10,000 secured bond, say police.
She has a court date scheduled for September 3.
