BRISTOW, Va. (WUSA9) -- A Delaplane, Va. man is being held without bond following his arrest at Jiffy Lube Live on Friday, say police.
According to Prince William County Police, at 9:30 p.m. two officers were transporting 22-year-old Ryan Daniel Ennis of Delaplane to the Adult Detention Center "when he became agitated." Ennis was arrested at Jiffy Lube Live and while in the police vehicle he reportedly stuck his foot through the middle partition and kicked both officers. Police tell us the officers had left the partition open to allow cool air to flow to the backseat.
After being kicked, police say the officers stopped the car and requested the prisoner transport wagon to take Ennis to the detention center.
Police tell us the officers reported minor injuries.
Ennis is charged with two counts of assault & battery on a law enforcement officer and intoxication in public, according to police. He is being held without bond and has a court date set for August 28.
