WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- Prince William County Police need your help in identifying the man pictured above suspected of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl.
According to police, a man knocked at the door of the victim's home located at the 4400 block of Echo Ct. on Monday at about 3:05 p.m.
When the victim opened the door, the man claimed he worked for a cable company and asked to speak to a person who did not live at the home, police said.
The man left when the victim told him the person he asked for did not live there. Soon after, the suspect returned and threatened the teen to let him inside the home, police said.
When the suspect entered he pulled out what appeared to be a knife and forced the teen into a bedroom where he sexually assaulted her, police said.
When the victim began to scream and kick, the suspect fled. She then called police.
The victim's sister told 9News' Ko Im that the victim is getting some rest tonight. She said the victim just wants justice to be served. The neighborhood has been alerted.
"I was really surprised when I heard what happened...I was just glad when I saw her and I hugged her and said we're never going to let anything happen to you," the victim's sister said.
The suspect is described as a black male, between 20 and 29 years of age, with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a gray jacket, red shirt, black pants and black dress shoes.
