RESTON, Va. (WUSA) --  A sedan hit a school bus on South Lakes Court at Escalante Court in Reston on Thursday morning.

We are told the sedan struck the back of the bus.

The driver of the sedan suffered non-life threatening injuries and is being taken to the hospital.

Two students from the bus are also being transported to the hospital as a precaution.

A wrecker has been called to the scene and school transportation officials were notified of the accident. A letter about the accident will likely be sent home to parents.
