WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- A woman is charged with malicious wounding and domestic assault and battery after being accused of assaulting a man on Halloween night in Woodbridge.
Police say 44-year-old Cynthia Lynn Haag was arrested after police responded to the 11400 block of Bacon Race Rd in Woodbridge for a domestic incident on Oct. 31 at 10:59 p.m. They say a 45-year-old man said he was in an argument with Haag when she assaulted him. At one point, police say, she grabbed a glass vase and struck the man in the head.
The man had a severe laceration to the back of his head and was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Haag was arrested and is being held without bond.
