WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WUSA) -- The family member of a two-month-old boy who was treated for a broken arm is now charged with child abuse.
Prince William County Police say Saturday afternoon officers began investigating a child abuse call in Woodbridge. They say their investigation revealed that the boy had a broken arm and was being treated at a hospital. Detectives later determined that a family member had grabbed the child's arm in an attempt to feed him. That family member, 29-year-old Michael Gregory Hatch, was later charged with felony child abuse
Hatch is being held on a $5,000 secured bond.
