ARLINGTON, Va. (AP) - Arlington National Cemetery is marking Memorial Day with a wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns.
The cemetery will also hold a special program at its Memorial Amphitheater. All events are free and open to the public.
The wreath-laying at the Tomb of the Unknowns will occur at 11 a.m. It will be followed by observances in the amphitheater.
The U.S. Army Band will also conduct a prelude concert in the amphitheater at 10:30 a.m.
Attendees are urged to arrive early and bring water bottles.
