MANASSAS, Va. (WUSA) -- A Manassas man has turned himself in to police in relation to copper and brass wire thefts, report Prince William County Police.

Twenty-five-year-old Robert Eugene Kiger is now charged with 2 counts of burglary, 2 counts of grand larceny and 2 counts of larceny with intent to sell in relation to thefts in Manassas earlier this month. Lee Albert Coppage of Manassas was arrested on Feb. 7 and faces the same charges.

Both men are being held without bond and have court dates set for March 8.

Police say they broke into a rear shed and stole items, which included copper and brass, sometime between 5 p..m. On Feb 5 and 11 a.m. On Feb 6. According to police there was a similar incident at the same location on January 30. Then, police found out that two people had sold the brass and copper to a scrap yard.
