FAIRFAX, Va. (WUSA) -- A car crashed into a popular sports radio station Thursday morning.
No one was injured, but it made for some great radio, when a car slammed through a window and wall at 106.7 "The Fan," (WJFK) a CBS-owned radio station that broadcasts in the DC area.
According to "@EBJUNKIES" (Erik Bickel's Twitter feed), the co-host of the popular radio show "The Sports Junkies," at about 7:45 a.m. a silver Honda crashed into the screener's office.
He posted pictures on Twitter of the incident as well.
The station is located at 10800 Main Street, in Fairfax.
Firefighters say a man drove a Honda Civic into studios, claiming he was trying to avoid a pedestrian.
They say he barely missed crashing into a tree or a more solid part of the structure.
The city building inspector and fire marshal are on scene.
Luckily, no one was injured and the driver was out of the car and walking around shortly after the accident, according to Bickel's Twitter feed.
