Tire loader stolen, water tanker truck damaged in Md.

DUNKIRK, Md. (WUSA9) -- Someone damaged a water tanker truck at the same work site a tire loader was stolen from this past week, according to Calvert County Sheriff's Office officials.

Sheriff's office officials say someone stole a yellow 2011 CAT rubber tire loader worth $130,000 from a work site at the Dunkirk Park and Ride between August 14 and 15. It was later found undamaged in the 8200 block of E. Street in Chesapeake Beach.

Additionally, the windshield and side windows of a water tanker truck were broken while it was parked at the site during the same time frame, report officials. Officials discovered the tanker at the back of the lot. They say the damage is estimated at $750.

Officials are investigating the theft and property damage.
