Teens arrested for setting fire in Fairfax County

CHANTILLY, Va. (WUSA9) -- Fairfax County Fire and Rescue Department fire investigators charged two Chantilly area teenagers with setting a fire on Monday, say officials.

The teens are 13 and 14 years old. They are charged with setting fire to woods, grass, bushes, and carelessly damaging property by fire, according to fire officials.

Officials say the charges are in connection to an outside fire near townhouses on March 15 at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of Chantilly Lace Court. The fire caused approximately $200 worth of damage.
